Travis Perry Dazzles Kentucky Teammates with Incredible Shooting Display

Kentucky freshman Travis Perry has been turning heads with his remarkable shooting ability during the team’s offseason practices. The four-star combo guard, who is the all-time leading scorer in Kentucky high school basketball history, has been putting on a shooting clinic that has left his teammates and coaches in awe.

According to reports, Perry has been putting up an astounding 500-600 shots per day in practice, and the hard work has paid off in a big way. In a recent practice session, the young guard hit an incredible 59 three-pointers in a row, showcasing the kind of sharpshooting that has become his trademark.

“It was really something to see,” said one of Perry’s teammates. “He was just unconscious, draining three after three with perfect form. We were all standing there watching in disbelief. It’s not often you see a guy that young put on a display like that.”

Head coach John Calipari was also in attendance for the practice and was equally impressed by Perry’s performance. “Travis is a special talent, and he’s proven that time and time again,” Calipari said. “The way he can shoot the ball is just unbelievable, and it’s going to be a real weapon for us next season.”

Perry’s shooting prowess has been on full display since he arrived on campus earlier this year. The Kentucky native, who is the all-time leading scorer in the state’s high school basketball history, has been putting in countless hours of work to hone his skills and prepare for the rigors of SEC play.

“I’m just trying to get better every day,” Perry said. “I know the competition is going to be tough at this level, so I’m doing everything I can to be ready. Hitting those shots in practice is great, but I know I have to keep working hard to translate that to the games.”

The Kentucky coaching staff has been particularly impressed with Perry’s dedication and work ethic. “Travis is the kind of player who is never satisfied,” said assistant coach Orlando Antigua. “He’s always looking to improve, and that’s what makes him so special. We’re excited to see what he can do once the season starts.”

With the departure of several key players from last year’s team, including star guard Sahvir Wheeler, Perry is expected to play a significant role for the Wildcats next season. His ability to stretch the floor and knock down shots from deep will be a valuable asset for a team that will be looking to replace a significant amount of scoring.

“I’m just focused on doing whatever I can to help the team win,” Perry said. “Whether that’s knocking down shots, facilitating for my teammates, or playing tough defense, I’m going to give it my all every time I step on the court.”

As the Wildcats prepare for the upcoming season, the buzz around Travis Perry’s shooting prowess continues to grow. With his combination of skill, work ethic, and team-first mentality, the young guard is poised to make a significant impact for Kentucky in the years to come.
