Carlos Alcaraz breezed past Novak Djokovic on Sunday to win his second straight Wimbledon title over the men’s all-time leader in Grand Slam victories.
Alcaraz won in three straight sets 6-2, 6-2, 7-6, for his fourth Grand Slam title overall.
- Alcaraz, 21, made it to the title rematch with a 6-7 (1), 6-3, 6-4, 6-4 semifinal victory over Daniil Medvedev on Friday whereas Djokovic took a slightly easier path to the championship contest
