Brandon Aiyuk and the San Francisco 49ers have gotten into a very critical situation after not reaching a deal before the start of the preseason. Now, after all the sayings, comments and uncomfortableness, it seems that there might be good news on the horizon for the two parties and the fans.
According to reports, both parties are getting closer to an agreement after early indications said that the team would arrange a trade that would send the wide receiver to another team. The story seems different now and it could have a happy ending.
A reconciliation with the San Francisco 49ers and the signing of a contract extension should be in place soon. The deal would last three more years and sources say that the only thing pending is the amount of money.
Brandon Aiyuk currently is set to earn $14.1 million in the final year of his rookie dela and he is looking a considerable increase as well as a fourth year in his contract if there is a situation that maybe delay the money he wants.
There is a lot of hope that a deal would be official son, definitely before the start of the season, but if once again the things don’t go as planned, the start of the year would once again be surrounded by a tense atmosphere in San Francisco even if he already reported training.
