Kevin Durant’s Phoenix Suns’ preview ahead of 2024-25 NBA season

Led by their three superstars Kevin Durant, Devin Booker and Bradley Beal, the Phoenix Suns were swept by the Minnesota Timberwolves in the first round of the playoffs of the 2023-24 season. Restricted by the current CBA rules, the loss highlighted the team’s lack of depth as they prioritized making a top heavy team than on depth.

Kevin Durant had one of his better seasons in recent years, having played in 75 games after not crossing the 60-game mark since his Achilles injury in 2019. He averaged 27.1 points, 6.6 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 1.2 steals per game while shooting 52.3% from the field and 41.3% from beyond the arc.Ahead of the upcoming season, the Suns’ star trio is healthy, something that wasn’t the case to start last season. They also acquired some depth during the offseason in big man Mason Plumlee and point-guard Monte Morris.
