Kay Adams interacts with players in the NFL for a living with hosting her own football web show.
Rumors have circulated for weeks about her being more than subject and reporter with New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones after a playful 1-on-1 interview during the team’s preseason camp.
Adams addressed the rumors herself about a romance with Jones while interviewing New York offensive lineman Jermaine Eluemunor
During the exchange, both laughed several times while Adams appeared smitten at the thought of Jones.
‘You gotta protect your boy, my boy, the world, internet thinks, my boy,’ Adams said. ‘I don’t want to talk about it, oh God.’
I’ve seen it! I know what you’re talking about,’ Eluemunor said.
‘Jermaine, A girl cant win. I’m trying to hype up your boy,’ Adams replied.
‘Daniel’s a great looking guy!’ Eluemunor responded.
Adams then diverted completely from talking about football to ask a Jones confidant if the quarterback is keeping his newly grown-out beard.
‘I’ve been telling him to keep the beard,’ Eluemunor said of Jones’ facial hair. ‘My beard is not as good as his beard. His beard is voluptuous.’
Adams chuckled at the sentence-ending adjective before getting back into the specifics of how the Giants are preparing to beat the Vikings.
As the interview wrapped, Adams had one final message.
‘I believe in you, go protect my boyfriend,’ she said, to which Eluemunor replied he would ‘100 percent!’
Jones and Adams have attempted to keep their private lives out of the spotlight, with the NFL host being previously romantically linked with tight end C.J. Uzomah and fellow reporter Shams Charania.
Jones himself has reportedly been dating former Duke lacrosse player Ella Bonafede since the duo’s time as Blue Devils.
