Shocking; Dallas Cowboys receive the cruelest disrespect from Kevin Durant for unlikely reason… details>>>

It should surprise no one that professional athletes enjoy watching other sports. And many of them are such fans of certain sports that they can be diehard fans of specific teams.

That’s absolutely the case for NBA superstar Kevin Durant. Although he has spent his basketball career in Seattle, Oklahoma City, San Francisco, Brooklyn and Phoenix, Durant was born in Washington D.C. and is an avid fan of the Commanders franchise. Fandom generally comes with hatred for rival teams, and Durant is no exception.

Durant was asked which NFL team he would relegate if given the opportunity, and he didn’t hesitate with his answer: the Dallas Cowboys.

Cowboys, easily. I just don’t like them. I had to ask myself, ‘why don’t I like the Cowboys?’ I don’t hate any teams or any players, I’m a huge fan of a lot of teams… I think it’s because a lot of people where I’m from in D.C. have become Cowboys fans. It’s probably like 75% people in Washington D.C., my group of people, that are Cowboys fans. And I just hate that they don’t stay loyal to the crib.

The Washington team and the Cowboys have been longstanding rivals for over 65 years. It stems back to a failed business negotiation in which the owner of the Washington Redskins pulled out of a deal at the last minute that would have relocated the team to Dallas.

The Cowboys were then founded in 1960 and placed in the same division as Washington in 1961. Since then, they have played each other twice a year in every season. Countless memorable moments have been created in games throughout that long period, and both teams achieved massive success through the 1970s, 80s and 90s
