The Italian will ride alongside Martin in the factory Aprilia Racing team in 2025 and beyond
Ahead of the Motul TT Assen, Aprilia Racing have confirmed that Marco Bezzecchi (Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team) has signed a multi-year deal to race alongside Jorge Martin (Prima Pramac Racing) in the factory RS-GP squad from next season.
Bezzecchi will become the first Italian to race for the Noale factory full-time since 2020, when now test rider, Lorenzo Savadori, lined up alongside Aleix Espargaro for the final three rounds of the year.
Since arriving in the premier class in 2022, Bezzecchi has claimed nine podiums and three wins on a Sunday, while the 25-year-old also collected an impressive P3 Championship finish in just his second season in 2023. In 2025, the #72 and Martin will complete an exciting, all-new pairing in Aprilia’s factory team.
Massimo Rivola, Aprilia Racing CEO: “Welcome aboard to one of the best Italian talents, who has demonstrated his worth from his debut in the lower categories and especially last year in MotoGP, with outstanding performances and even breakaway victories. We can’t wait to embrace Bez in Noale; the Italian bike and Italian rider duo are extremely exciting, but even more so is the rider pair which will be formed with Jorge. We are really happy with our line-up for 2025, Martín and Bezzecchi were our first choices for their age, talent, grit, and determination. With them we can write a new and important chapter in the history of Aprilia Racing.”
