It is with pleasure that Marco Bezzecchi is preparing once again to race ‘on his own’ feet, now that the MotoGP caravan is arriving in Misano for the Emilia Romagna GP. The rider felt improvements in his last stay at Misano, and intends to be in good shape, with the uncertainty surrounding the GP and the temperatures making it ‘even more spectacular’, he considers.
In a team statement, the Italian, who will have the last opportunity to race in front of his fans in Italy in the colors of Ducati – he will move to Aprilia Racing at the end of 2024 – gave his preview of the next round of the world championship:
Racing twice on the same track is always particular, but Misano is my home track and it will be a great feeling as usual! I’m happy with what we did last week, we made a step forward in qualifying and the results were also visible in the race. As in the last GP, the weather will perhaps be uncertain, the temperatures certainly lower. Lots of unknowns that will make the race even more spectacular. I can’t wait to get back on the bike and meet all the fans again!
With 93 points so far, Bezzecchi occupies 11th place in the championship’s overall standings.
