Breaking News; Hugh Freeze sends mind-boggling message on Sam Pittman’s Arkansas Razorbacks… details>>>

Hugh Freeze didn’t accept accountability for his QBs not performing well against Arkansas during a 24-14 loss for Auburn at Jordan-Hare Stadium, but the situation has since worsened on the Plains.

Now, Freeze isn’t taking accountability for the loss at all. According to the Tigers head coach, he would’ve beaten Sam Pittman’s Razorbacks nine times if the two teams played another nine games.

“I love Sam Pittman and I hope he wins the rest of his games,” Freeze said on the September 23 edition of Tiger Talk. “But I’m telling you that the hard truth is that if we play them nine more times, we’d beat them nine more times. That’s what’s hard to take.”

Freeze’s QBs threw four interceptions, one of them from Payton Thorne a tipped ball that wasn’t his fault, but still happened, against the Hogs. The defense gave up 183 yards rushing.

Auburn didn’t lose on a freak play. They weren’t on the wrong end of several bad calls. They were thoroughly beaten in one of the ugliest games of the 2024 season.

Freeze doesn’t seem to be interested in taking responsibility for any of that, or perhaps, anything at all.

Arkansas’s Sam Pittman saved his job with win over Auburn

With five ranked opponents in their next six games, and six ranked opponents left overall, Arkansas has one of, if not the toughest schedules in the country.

Pittman was on the hot seat. He may not be anymore. Beating Auburn, and perhaps notching another two to three wins, could well be enough for Hunter Yurachek to keep his tenure going – since Yuracheck admitted that NIL is holding the program back.
