Lindsey Vonn recently extended a birthday wish to Hugh Jackman. In it, the former alpine ski racer referred to the Australian actor’s popular portrayal of the fictional character Wolverine from the X-Men movies. Jackman celebrated his 56th birthday on October 12.
The actor brought the iconic Wolverine character to life on the big screen to much acclaim. He first portrayed the character in “X-Men” in 2000. Following this, he appeared in “X-Men Origins: Wolverine” in 2009, “The Wolverine in 2013”, and the latest “Deadpool & Wolverine” in 2024, making him one of the longest-serving superheroes in film history.Vonn penned him a playful birthday wish while reflecting on the skiing trip they embarked on a few years ago. In March 2021, Vonn and Jackman were seen hitting the slopes in Park City, Utah.
“Happy Birthday @thehughjackman,” Vonn wrote, reminiscing their skiing getaway. “The Best skiing wolverine on the planet.”
Further, Vonn also mentioned Ryan Reynolds, Jackman’s co-actor from” Deadpool & Wolverine”, and invited him for a quick skiing session, writing:
“When are we dragging @vancityreynolds onto the mountain?”
Jackman and Reynolds first shared the screen during the “X-Men Origins: Wolverine” in 2009.
Following their skiing session from 2021, Vonn and Jackman were seen delighting in a jamming session, where the skier was playing Justin Timberlake’s “Can’t Stop The Feeling.”Jackman couldn’t contain his excitement and was seen grooving to the tune of the song played on the piano and violin. The pair even raced each other downhill.
