Mikaela Shiffrin showed off a pair of Oakley goggles from the brand’s latest Flight Deck™ L Mikaela Shiffrin Signature Series Snow Goggles collection, as she expressed excitement for the forthcoming 2024/25 Alpine Skiing World Cup season. Shiffrin extended her World Cup win tally to 97 in the 2023/24 edition of the Alpine Skiing World Cup, though she narrowly missed out on the all-over champion’s title.

Shiffrin is the most successful alpine skier in history, having surpassed the legendary Ingemar Stenmark in 2023. She bowed out of the 2023/24 World Cup with her eighth Crystal Globe in the Slalom and a 97th World Cup win. Despite suffering an MCL injury during her run, she finished third behind Lara Gut-Behrami and Fredrica Brignone in the overall standings with 1,409 points.

Having extended her partnership with Atomic till 2024, Shiffrin opted for their bindings, helmets, skis, and boots for the 2023/24 alpine skiing season. However, for sunglasses, the double Olympic gold medalist chose pieces from her long-time brand partner Oakley, which will also assist her in the 2024/25 edition. She has collaborated with the brand for a signature line of goggles, featuring Prizm Jade Iridium lenses in the Flight Deck™ L Mikaela Shiffrin Signature Series Snow Goggles.

In a post shared on X (formerly Twitter), Shiffrin showed off her new signature black-rimmed goggles and shared her excitement in the caption. She wrote,

“Only a matter of time now… Soooo psyched on @oakley’s new campaign. What do you think of my new signature goggles and glasses?!”

The picture featured her in a black turtle neck suit and hair tied up in a pony, sitting well with the oversized ski eye gear.

Mikaela Shiffrin will begin her season with the Giant Slalom in Soelden, Austria as the season begins on October 26, 2024. The women’s events will conclude in Sun Valley, United States on March 27, 2025.

Previously, Shiffrin posed for Oakley’s Flex Scape model in an Instagram post. She wore the half-run goggles, which feature an interchangeable strap.
