First and foremost, I want to thank God for the incredible opportunity to spend the past five years at Texas. None of this would have been possible without His guidance and blessings. These years have been transformative, filled with highs and lows, but above all, they’ve been a testament to perseverance, faith, and gratitude.

From the moment I stepped onto campus, I knew I was entering a chapter of my life that would shape me into the person I am today. The University of Texas is more than just a place to learn — it’s a place to grow, to challenge yourself, and to build connections that last a lifetime.

Throughout my time at Texas, faith has been my compass. It’s easy to get caught up in the pressures of academics, sports, and social life, but keeping my focus on God has grounded me. Every success, every challenge, and every opportunity to grow has been part of His plan.

There were moments when the path ahead seemed unclear, times when I doubted my abilities or felt overwhelmed by expectations. But in those moments, I turned to prayer and leaned on my faith. I truly believe that God placed me at Texas for a reason, and for that, I am eternally grateful.

For many students, college is a time of learning and discovery, and my experience was no different. What made my journey unique were the lessons I learned both in the classroom and through my extracurricular endeavors. Whether it was through rigorous academic challenges, high-pressure situations on the field, or community service projects, every experience taught me something valuable.

On the field, I learned about teamwork, resilience, and the importance of preparation. Representing Texas wasn’t just about personal achievement — it was about being part of something bigger than myself. Every practice, every game, and every moment spent with my teammates reinforced the values of hard work and perseverance.

Off the field, I learned the importance of leadership and giving back. Texas provided countless opportunities to grow as a person, and I took those lessons to heart. The friendships I’ve built, the mentors who’ve guided me, and the opportunities to serve my community have all been instrumental in shaping my character.

I would be remiss not to acknowledge the incredible support I received from the Texas community. From professors who challenged me to think critically, to coaches who pushed me to reach my full potential, to friends who were always there to cheer me on — each of you played a part in my journey.

The University of Texas has a unique way of fostering a sense of family and belonging. I will always cherish the moments spent at DKR-Texas Memorial Stadium, the late nights studying at the library, and the countless conversations that made me feel at home.

As I reflect on the past five years, I am filled with gratitude not only for the experiences but also for the person I’ve become. The values instilled in me during my time at Texas will guide me as I take the next step in my journey.

While leaving this chapter behind is bittersweet, I am excited to see what the future holds. I know that God’s plan for me is far from over, and I am ready to embrace whatever comes next with faith and determination.

To current and future Longhorns, my advice is simple: make the most of your time here. Trust in God’s plan, embrace the challenges, and never take for granted the opportunity to be part of something as special as the University of Texas.

To everyone who has been part of my journey — thank you. Your support, encouragement, and belief in me have made all the difference. As I close this chapter and move forward, I carry with me the memories, the lessons, and the unwavering pride of being a Longhorn.

Hook ’em, forever and always.
