Elite 2026 interior offensive lineman (IOL) Zyon Guiles has announced that he will reveal his college commitment on March 21, 2025. The 6-foot-5, 285-pound standout from Hemingway, South Carolina, has narrowed his choices to seven prestigious programs: Clemson, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Tennessee, and Florida State.

Guiles, currently attending Carvers Bay High School, has seen a meteoric rise in his recruitment over the past year. His dedication to improving his craft has not gone unnoticed, as he is now ranked as the No. 3 interior offensive lineman and the No. 40 overall prospect in the 2026 class, according to On3’s rankings.

Clemson has been a significant contender in Guiles’ recruitment journey. He has made multiple visits to the campus since receiving an offer last summer and is scheduled to attend the Elite Retreat on March 8. Guiles has also planned an official visit to Clemson from May 30 to June 1, though this may depend on his commitment decision.

South Carolina, Guiles’ home-state school, is also a strong contender. His father, Johnathan, has expressed admiration for the Gamecocks’ program, noting their consistent performance and the family’s longstanding fondness for head coach Dabo Swinney. The Guiles family has visited South Carolina multiple times, and they anticipate a more in-depth experience during their next visit.

The University of Georgia is another top choice for Guiles. The Bulldogs have a strong reputation for developing offensive linemen and have been actively recruiting him. Despite South Carolina being considered a frontrunner, Georgia has an official visit scheduled with Guiles later this summer, providing an opportunity to make a lasting impression.

The University of Florida has also made significant strides in Guiles’ recruitment. The Gators are known for their competitive SEC presence and have been actively engaging with Guiles, highlighting their commitment to building a formidable offensive line.

Alabama’s storied football program is another attractive option for Guiles. The Crimson Tide’s history of success and their ability to develop NFL-ready talent make them a compelling choice for any top recruit.

Tennessee has been diligently working to secure Guiles’ commitment. Under the leadership of head coach Josh Heupel, the Volunteers have been emphasizing the importance of strengthening their offensive line, making Guiles a priority target.

Florida State University rounds out Guiles’ list of finalists. The Seminoles have been rebuilding their program and view Guiles as a key component in enhancing their offensive front. While Guiles has not visited Tallahassee since the coaching changes, FSU remains hopeful in securing his commitment.

Guiles’ decision will undoubtedly have a significant impact on the program he chooses. His versatility, size, and skill set make him a valuable asset, and his commitment is highly anticipated by all seven schools.

As March 21 approaches, the college football community eagerly awaits Guiles’ announcement. Each of the seven programs offers unique opportunities, and his choice will be a testament to where he believes he can best develop his talents and achieve his aspirations.

Regardless of his decision, Zyon Guiles’ commitment will be a pivotal moment in the 2026 recruiting landscape, potentially influencing the choices of other top recruits and shaping the future of the selected program’s offensive line.
