Spanish tennis star Carlos Alcaraz has reportedly signed a new multi-million-dollar deal with Nike.

As per Relevo journalist Nacho Encabo, the World No. 2 has penned a contract extension for the next decade with sporting giant Nike. The deal is estimated to be worth around $15 to $20m annually. In addition, everything related to the 21-year-old would have a special ‘Carlitos’ logo.

In the past, Nike has honoured only the likes of Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal with a special gesture by giving them their custom logo with the company.

Before 2019, Carlos Alcaraz was sponsored by Lotto. However, he signed a deal with Nike in 2019, which was set to expire in 2025. However, the Spaniard is reportedly set to wear the same brand for 10 more years.

Earlier this month, Alcaraz became the youngest player in tennis history to complete a surface slam. He broke countryman Rafael Nadal’s record to reach the milestone. Nevertheless, if he wins the Australian Open in the upcoming year, he’ll also become the youngest male player to complete a career Grand Slam.

Meanwhile, Carlos Alcaraz is expected to make his return to tennis at the Queen’s Club Championships. The 21-year-old Spaniard will be defending his title here as well as at the 2024 Wimbledon.

Seven-time Wimbledon champion Novak Djokovic is uncertain about participating at the tournament; thus, Jannik Sinner could again face the Spaniard at the grass court major. They faced each other on Centre Court during the 2022 Wimbledon, a match which was eventually won by Sinner.

However, they faced each other recently at the 2024 French Open, where Alcaraz stunned the new World No. 1 to reach his maiden Roland-Garros final.
