It is well-known that Jokic has a deep love for Serbia, his horses, and a seemingly unconcerned attitude toward basketball, often appearing as if the game bores him. However, his journey to the top of the NBA clearly demonstrates immense dedication and heart. Following the Nuggets elimination, Jokic likely returned to Serbia immediately, maybe the same night, to spend time with his horses and family. Recently, he was spotted playing a casual 3-on-3 game in a local park with friends and of course standing at 6’11”, Jokic naturally stands out on any court.
He appears to be relaxed and enjoying time but choosing to play in a public park despite having access to any, and by any, I mean any, facilities worldwide highlights his indifference to luxury and his genuine love for the game. Interestingly, in this informal setting, they played without the traditional check ball after scoring, opting for continuous play instead. Seeing Jokic play basketball in the off-season is unusual, but it might be his way of warming up for the upcoming Olympic Games.
