OXFORD, Miss. – A former member of the University of Mississippi Men’s Basketball team was arrested after gunfire rang out in Oxford Friday evening, according to the Oxford Police Department (OPD).
OPD said 22-year-old Jamarion Demontrez Sharp was arrested on April 26. Around 5 p.m. that day, Sharp fired shots at someone while a car was being repossessed at Price Hill Park, police said. Nobody was injured in the gunfire, according to OPD.
