Ole Miss Rebels defensive lineman Walter Nolen put out an interesting PSA for all Texas A&M recruits on Wednesday.
OXFORD, Miss. — lineman issued an interesting warning via social media on Wednesday that is aimed directly at players being recruited by the Texas A&M Aggies. Nolen, the crown jewel of Texas A&M’s 2022 recruitment class, elected to transfer out of College Station following the 2023 season and committed to Ole Miss in December as the No. 1 player in the portal.PSA if you going to A&M read your contract thoroughly [hit me up] if you got questions just trying to help,” Nolen stated via social media. It seems Nolen is implying that there have been some shady dealings regarding A&M recruitment, which is not ideal for a program that is currently in a transitional period. The Aggies paid coach Jimbo Fisher a record buyout when they fired him in November, and are now searching for a new athletic director after was hired by the Ohio State Buckeyes on Tuesday.
Nolen is one of the many former Aggies who decided to enter the portal following Texas A&M’s disappointing 2023 campaign. In two seasons with Texas A&M, Nolen registered 66 total tackles, 11 tackles for loss, five sacks, one forced fumble, and one pass breakup.
