Phoenix Suns star Devin Booker has established himself as one of the best shooting guards in the NBA today. He has played a pivotal role in the Suns’ recent success, including leading them to the NBA Finals, where they ultimately lost to the Milwaukee Bucks. This year, Booker was also selected to be part of Team USA for the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Devin Booker was undoubtedly a key contributor to Team USA. Among all the players, Booker made the biggest sacrifices. Known as a ball-dominant guard, he adapted to a role player position during the Olympics. Head coach Steve Kerr even referred to him as the unsung MVP of the team. Recently, Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards was a guest at the Fanatics Fest, where she showered praise on the Suns guard.

Anthony Edwards shared his experience of being part of the stacked Team USA lineup. He praised Devin Booker, noting that Booker consistently guarded the best player on the opposing team and was always ready to contest shots. Edwards admitted he was genuinely impressed with the way Booker performed throughout the Olympics.

Booker has certainly earned everyone’s respect with his performance. Both Edwards and Booker operate at the same position and are certainly in the race for being the best shooting guard in the NBA. Fans could expect great matchups between both stars in the future.

Devin Booker certainly played one of the most selfless roles on Team USA. Even after being a ball dominant guard, Booker doubled down and became a role player that the team much desperately needed due to its great star power and talent.

Booker was elite on both ends of the floor for USA. He played tight defense on the opposition and even scored great shots when the team needed. Booker averaged 11.7 points, 2.7 rebounds and 3.3 assists, and started for all the six games of USA.

Booker was even great with his three-point shooting as he shot 56.5% from the three-point arc. Even though his numbers aren’t that big, his impact on the court was certainly something that fans admired.
