BREAKING; Leicester to Sign Free Agent Striker in Coming Hours…Read more…

Leicester City are reportedly on the brink of securing a deal for free agent striker Yusuf Yazıcı, as the club looks to strengthen its squad following their return to the Premier League. Yazıcı, 27, has been a free agent since his contract with French side Lille expired in June 2024, and he is now drawing serious interest from several Premier League clubs, including Everton and Bournemouth.

Leicester has moved swiftly to engage in talks with Yazıcı’s representatives, hoping to finalize the deal in the coming hours. The Turkish international, known for his creativity and goal-scoring ability, had an impressive season with Lille last year, netting 12 goals and contributing four assists. His experience in Europe’s top leagues makes him an attractive prospect for Leicester, who are looking to add depth to their attacking options.

The move comes after Leicester lost one of their key attacking players, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, to Chelsea earlier this summer. The Foxes have been actively seeking reinforcements to ensure their survival in the Premier League, with manager Steve Cooper keen on adding a versatile forward who can both score and create goals.

However, Leicester faces stiff competition for Yazıcı’s signature. Both Everton and Bournemouth are also in the race, with all three clubs seeing him as a player who could bring an added spark to their squads. Everton, under Sean Dyche, is particularly keen to boost their attacking depth, while Bournemouth is also closely monitoring the situation.

The Premier League season well underway, Leicester is hopeful of concluding the deal as soon as possible. Yazıcı’s arrival could provide the club with the attacking prowess needed to compete in the top flight and secure a strong finish this season.
