Commitment; IU basketball priority in-state recruiting target Braylon Mullins is down to..

On Tuesday Mullins said he will only consider Indiana, UConn and North Carolina going forward.  Joe Tipton of On3 appears to have been the first to report the news.

Mullins took official visits to all three programs over the last six weeks.

The list cut means Kentucky is no longer under consideration.  Mullins had an official visit to Kentucky scheduled for October.  He now has no official visits remaining.

Mullins is a 4-star and the No. 22 overall player in the 2025 class according to the On3 Industry Average.  He is widely considered one of the best 3-point shooters in the class.  Over the last year he rose from unranked to a 5-star at some outlets.

A product of Greenfield, Ind., Mullins cut Alabama, Kentucky, Michigan, Tennessee, Purdue, Duke, and Kansas since announcing a top-10 during the summer.

A favorite for Indiana Mr. Basketball in 2025, Mullins averaged 25 points, 6.2 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 3.2 steals per game as a junior at Greenfield Central. He shot 56% from the field overall, including 43% from three on 142 attempts.

Mullins visited Indiana with his AAU teammate Trent Sisley over the weekend.  Sisley says he is trying to get Mullins to join him in Bloomington.

“He (Mullins) was there right after I committed (on Sunday in Bloomington) and I was like ‘Hey we need you next.’” Sisley told The Daily Hoosier on Monday evening.  “He was the first guy I talked to and I’ve just been texting him the past few days, and continuing to spread that message.”
