They really made me feel like I was wanted. There was never a doubt in my mind of that.”

Initially open to exploring opportunities far from home, she ultimately prioritized proximity, allowing her family to attend her games with ease. “I’m really close with my family and couldn’t bring myself to choose somewhere that I’d be a plane ride away… My family can make it to almost every one of my home games here,” Epps explained.

She expressed enthusiasm about joining a program that mirrors her own preferences, stating, “I love how fast they play. That’s another reason why I chose to play in the ACC at Louisville because I just love how fast the game moves. That’s how I love to play.”
